Music For Thomas Carnacki [Feb. 4th, 2011|11:44 am]
Warren Ellis

Jon Brooks’ music for the recent radio adaptation of one of William Hope Hodgson’s beloved “Carnacki” stories. If you’re not aware of Carnacki, and somehow don’t have the strength to Google, be advised that the man is a sort of supernatural Sherlock Holmes of the Edwardian era, armed with skepticism, vast occult knowledge and electric pentagrams. Brooks’ accompaniment is nothing short of perfect. Click through to buy your own download of the work for a most reasonable price.

The old Rivals of Sherlock Holmes shows are available on DVD now.
Donald Pleasence plays Carnacki in Horse of the Invisible.
