Obama's using Nixon scare tactics?
If you think about and put aside the tactics used by McCain. Obama is using the tactics that Nixon was famous for using to win his presidency and what lead to his downfall. And I'm not saying McCain is squeaky clean. He's just as bad a choice for our country.
Care to elaborate? Maybe it's just a product of not having been alive during the Nixon years, but I don't see what you mean.
Obama's ratfucking and telling people he has a secret plan to end the war that he won't reveal unless he's elected?
He wants people to be so afraid of another Bush regime that they will elect him despite the fact that he has no plans to save the country. He's even using the fear of racial tension between black and white people to widen the gap to where he can sell himself to the black community and to those white voters who do not want to vote for a racist president. And it also smears McCain's name and destroys his credibility. He did the same thing to Hillary and everyone turned against her. He unsubtle implied in both cases they his opponents were racist. But in such a way that he could later deny it so he can act offend to such charges.
I'm pretty sure Hillary did herself in. Obama certainly didn't need to do anything at all to spin, "Hard working Americans, white Americans."
Against McCain, there hasn't been any sort of mention of racial tension at all. In fact, what he's been doing is mentioning the facts that McCain doesn't care about the middle class, which is quite abundantly clear. He compares McCain to Bush, which is definitely a stretch, in that McCain isn't an utter failure of a human being, but no one save Kanye West has really thought of Bush as a hard-line racist.
The dollar bill comparsion ;)
how does "I don't look like the typical President" mean that McCain is racist?
Obama said it in response to McCain (or one of his people, I can't remember off-hand) making cracks about Obama looking "different" and asking how his face would look on something like Mt. Rushmore. The obvious inference was that this was a scary negro that doesn't belong where the white man has always ruled.
You ever considered that McCain is pointing out that Obama is crafting a celebrity status for himself instead of conducting himself as a presidential nominee. I mean there is more than one way to read that message. Unless you are foolish enough to believe Barrack Obama's lies. And to put this in perspective this whole presidential campagin should be about the economy. Not about racial relations. People have too much to worry about as it is without having to worry about a black supremcist like Obama driving a further wedge the people of our the country.
The phrase "black supremcist like Obama" shows that you are a person totally incapable of intelligent thought or mature discussion. I truly pity you, for the world of imaginary threats you have crafted must be a terrible place to live in.
Please, pull your head out from the right-wing mud-slinging propaganda that has been proven false over and over again, and join the real world. If you don't like Obama, that's cool with me... I just ask that you have some intelligence to your arguments.
Best of luck to you.
Yeah, Obama implied that Hillary was racist. It wasn't the fact that Hillary's campaign branded her the "candidate for hard working middle-class WHITE PEOPLE."
Hillary killed her own campaign, she didn't need any help from Obama. She had a poor strategy, thinking that the election was guaranteed to be over by Super Tuesday. Then, when it was obvious that her campaign was going down the crapper, she pulled that garbage with Michigan and Florida, backtracking on the promise she had made.
And Obama hasn't backtracked if not out right lied about things he has said or done? I mean he was caught on video saying that he wanted to teach kindergartners sex education. And only the democratic party and members of McCain's staff has spoken about what he meant. When we don't even know if what the democrats are saying is the truth given he has not said anything on the matter. Also it sounds like one of the placation things when a some one in the party says something stupid and embarrassing, and then the party interprets what they meant without consulting them so there won't be controversy or damage to the party. While telling the person who said it not to bring it up again.
