Doesn't Neil Gainmen have a giga-gaggle of gothling girls? They could have Powers Of Mascara and Eyelash Batting instead of Scathing Wit and Withstanding Vile Atrocity.
I think some of the HSA's powers are more like "Causing Vile Atrocity," but you've definitely got a point.
